Threadd ("we", "us") is an Australian brand strategy and digital marketing business. We collect only what we need to talk to you about your business, and we never sell your information. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it's kept and how to reach us about it.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, business name, email address, website (optional) and anything you write in the message box.
- Call bookings: when you book a call with us, your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give on the booking page.
- Calls and email: anything you share with us when we speak on a video call or exchange emails.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
We don't ask for sensitive information (such as health or financial details) and ask that you don't include it in the enquiry form.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
- To understand your business and prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
- To provide our services if you become a client, including the reporting described on our website.
- To keep business records we are required to keep by law.
We won't add you to a marketing list without your consent, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Cookies and tracking
With your permission, we use analytics cookies from a third-party service provider to understand how people find and use this website, such as which pages are visited, where visitors come from and whether an enquiry was sent. This information is collected in a way that doesn't identify you by name, and we don't send your form details to the analytics provider.
Analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, they aren't used. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Some parts of the site, such as fonts, are loaded from third-party service providers, which receive basic technical information like your IP address when the page loads. If we add advertising tools in future, we'll update this policy first.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party service providers to run Threadd, such as website hosting, form handling, scheduling, email and video calls. They handle your information on our behalf and only for these purposes.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We'll only disclose it to anyone else if you agree, or if the law requires it.
Storage outside Australia
Some of our third-party service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose established providers with strong security practices and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Keeping it secure
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to our accounts is limited to the Threadd team. We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete them.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge for this.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we've handled your information, email teamthreadd@threadd.co. We'll acknowledge it promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the tools we use change. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
